UK decided to suspend the extradition treaty with Hong Kong ‘immediately and indefinitely’. UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab says in Parliament UK on 20 July, that there will has a ban of exporting ‘any equipment that might be used for internal oppression’ that applies to China to Hong Kong, until there are “safeguards to prevent extradition from the UK being misused“. The UK will also extend to Hong Kong the ‘arms embargo’ that UK has applied to Mainland China since 1989. And they are deeply concerned about National Security Law in Hong Kong.
Thank you so much for sharing this breaking news with us, Ling! I live in the USA, and I completely agree that we should do our part to help the people of Hong Kong. When we send various products to China, it is to be used for the benefit of all people, not just a select few. We unfortunately live in a world where certain people in positions of power abuse their power in order to make the rich richer, make the poor poorer, and marginalize good, honest, hardworking people. As a child of God, I love everyone, want to help everyone, and want to see everyone succeed. I will pray for Hong Kong. God bless you!
Hello C.N., thank you for your comment. Agree with you that it should be used for benefit of all people, so that people can live in good. People are working hard day by day, but they could’t have a share of benefits, what a pity. You are always welcome dropping by and leave us comments. Thank you for standing with Hong Kong! Have a good day!
